LEAD A CHAPTER OR CLUB

Develop and hone your leadership skills as you create positive social change and spearhead local 85 Broads events, lead membership initiatives, and represent 85 Broads in your community. Chapter Officers are focused on graduate students and women professionals, while Club Officers are more focused on undergraduate members. Chapters and Campus Clubs are often on the lookout for leaders!

Here you can access a variety of templates, a sample event planning checklist, downloadable marketing materials, logos, and a host of other resources that will help you start and grow an 85Broads Chapter or Campus Club.

PARTICIPATE IN YOUR PROFESSIONAL CHAPTER OR CLUB

Build a network of local women through organizing, marketing, and attending networking events and service projects in your area or on your campus. These events could include fundraisers, conferences, power breakfasts, art gallery viewings, exclusive dinners, happy hours, roundtable discussions, etc. It takes a team!

Regional Chapter Goals

To develop and strengthen the 85 Broads network through networking, developmental and service-focused events in each region or on each campus.
To attract new members.
To retain, engage, and connect existing members.
To plan, publicize, and organize regularly scheduled regional 85 Broads events.
To increase brand awareness of 85 Broads.
To develop professional and leadership skills among women.
To provide opportunities for women to address the needs and concerns of the community and our world.
Connect women ACROSS industries and generations.
Create powerful opportunities for members to connect with potential clients, mentors, and business contacts (both male and female!).
Make the business case for networking.
Educate women about what they COULD DO on the global stage as investors and entrepreneurs and business leaders so that they are then in a MUCH BETTER POSITION to invest in other women AT A MUCH EARLIER AGE.
