Great, Full.

Borrowing a line from one of Danielle LaPorte's brilliant bold note cards. http://whitehottruth.com/shop-adore/stationery-2-0/
Great, Full.
First, energized and recharged after a successful event with the Washington, DC Chapter of 85 Broads on Thursday, June 24. Laura Liswood http://www.lauraliswood.com/ blew us away with her insights, research and humor. My former colleagues at White & Case were beyond the perfect hosts for the event which included attorneys from the firm, White & Case alums, members of Ms JD and 85 Broads members. Nicole, Eileen and Jane - I have missed working with you three!
Great, Full.
Second, excited by the energy of the Washington, DC Chapter. Darlene and Megan are now joined by Jhaymee (who was busy on her iPad all through Laura's presentation - follow her tweets from the event #LoudestDuck85), Noha, Leigh, Jennifer, Rawan, Dora, Maria, Vanessa, Carmen.....a growing list of brilliant women who will make things happen in the nation's chapter! I'm looking forward to seeing what they accomplish.
Great, Full.
Third, for the opportunity to spend time in The National Museum of the Women in the Arts http://www.nmwa.org/ with it's Director, Susan Fisher Sterling. The collection is beautifully curated, fabulously diverse - just great art - and all by women. Frida Khalo's "Self Portrait Dedicated to Leon Trotsky" http://www.nmwa.org/collection/detail.asp?WorkID=1432 The museum's first acquisition, Clara Peeter's "Still Life with Fish and Cat" http://www.nmwa.org/collection/detail.asp?WorkID=1914
Nudes, portraits, cows, contemporary, abstract, tires. Take the elevator to the 5th floor, explore and absorb the collection, I'm still soaking it all in.

Fourth, blown away by the ideas rolling in from 85 Broads members. I am so inspired by your energy and enthusiasm, and encouraged - who says women can't pitch, who says women don't own their expertise! So keep the pitches for stories, columns, contributions for Forbes Woman coming! http://www.85broads.com/public/blogs/j-kelly-hoey/articles/in-the-media-making-news-ready-to-pitch

Fifth, for knowing that my world of women friends support each other and kick each other in the butt, laugh with, and frequently, at each other (the verbal towel slaps Laura Liswood talked about) - women who really do lift each other up. Not status quo seekers. Women wanting more, doing more and taking bold strides in fabulous shoes. http://www.evetahmincioglu.com/web/blog/2010/06/23/women-are-not-bitchy-until-were-bitchy/
Yes, I can truly say I'm Great, Full.
