It’s finally here…

For the past three months myself and the other board members of 85 Broads @ Columbia University have been hard at work planning and executing Columbia’s very first Leadership Week.

For those of you who have not yet heard of it, Leadership Week is a digital, week-long celebration and sharing of tips and anecdotes between women (and a couple men) of all ages and backgrounds. It consists of a daily email on topics that we felt are important for developing leadership skills.

The line-up:
- Monday 3/29: Getting Started – How to Make Your Plan
- Tuesday 3/30: First Impressions
- Wednesday 3/31: Time Management
- Thursday 4/1: Networking
- Friday 4/2: Going Above and Beyond

Leadership Week - which grew out of an idea for a small book club on campus - is a culmination of the many tidbits of advice the 85 Broads @ Columbia members have gathered over the years – many of which came from speakers, mentors, friends, and acquaintances that we met through 85 Broads. It is thanks to this eternally generous network of women who have taught and supported us through the years that we are able to share this information with a larger audience – our largest to-date! So thank you all for your support and guidance, this project belongs to each and every one of you!
