March 23 2009

In early January 2009, I had posted an article here:

Now Live Earth has posted some details and slideshows of that journey across 3 cities with the collaborative partners/social work orgs that engage in a variety of causes:

It was an amazing experience to meet so many kids and talk about climate crisis.  Over a million school kids participated from all over India - both rural and urban. Particularly from the cities and surrounding areas of Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Jaipur, Mathura, Udaipur, Nathdwara, Puri and more.  The children enthusiastically participated in various school activities, writing essays, eco-quiz, art competition, watching the screening of Inconvenient Truth (Hindi/English) and cleaning-up-environment activities.

Live Earth shared the following last week with over a million of their members worldwide via email that included the above project.
