If Obama wins...

November 4 2008

If Barack Obama wins the White House, here's what will happen on the hiring front:

The Republicans will be leaving Washington in caravans. There will be dramatic agency personnel turnover, particularly at the most senior levels. And smart women will be in HUGE DEMAND.

What does that mean for corporate America? It means that the best talent will now have a "bid away" in Washington. And given where bonuses are headed on Wall Street, working for the USG might be a real uptick. Companies with poor track records of recruiting, hiring, retaining, and promoting women are in for a real head snapper. Even companies that have decent track records will know that the BIG G that's hiring is not Google, it's the United States Government.

If Barack Obama wants to recruit the best and brightest talent to help him lead the nation back to prosperity; regain America's status as a leader in the world community; solve the problems of hunger, disease, and global warming-- he need look no farther than 85 Broads. We have some of the smartest, most dedicated professionals in our network who are ready to respond to the call.

If Barack Obama becomes our nation's next president, the glass ceiling will finally be shattered thanks to good old fashioned SUPPLY AND DEMAND. The supply has always been there. And now the demand will be there too. I can't wait.
